A Hometown Holiday Wreath Display Contest

The holidays are quickly approaching, and you can help us decorate. Local organizations can add a wreath to go up in the Niswonger Grand Lobby. But a beautiful display isn’t all we’re hosting – you can encourage your friends and family to cast their vote in the Hometown Holiday Wreath Display Contest!
Each vote is a donation of a dollar. Voting will be a part of the lobby fun starting November 10. Your wreath will be displayed during the rest of the Fall shows including Blippi: Join the Band Tour, An Olde English Christmas with Herman’s Hermits Starring Peter Noone, Christmas in the Air, A Hometown Holiday, and Jason Petty’s Classic Nashville Christmas. Every dollar given goes towards youth education programming.
Contest coordinator Amy McGovern has the details on how to participate below:
“During the month of October, deliver a decorated standard size (24-30” in diameter) wreath to be displayed in our beautiful venue during the months of November and December. Wreaths will be accepted until the end of business day on Friday, October 31st. Feel free to be as creative as you want! Each wreath will be displayed in the lobby of the Niswonger Performing Arts Center from November 10, 2025- December 13, 2025. During the weeks that the wreaths are on display, the public may vote for their favorite wreath by donating $1 per vote. Voting boxes (with a picture and number of the wreath) will be located in the lobby and/or at the organization sponsoring their wreath. Also, photos will be posted online with a provided QR code for additional donations.
"Voting will end on Friday, December 5, 2025. Votes will be tallied and the winner of the “Hometown Holiday People’s Choice Wreath” will be announced during our Hometown Holiday event on Sunday, December 7th. Winners will receive two (2) tickets to a Spring 2026 show and concessions on show night! Wreaths will be displayed until our final holiday show on December 13th. After that event, wreaths can be picked up at the Niswonger during Box Office hours (Tuesday - Friday 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM) or by coordinating with myself, Amy McGovern (boxoffice@npacvw.org) outside of those hours. Then, feel free to proudly display your winning wreath at your organization knowing that you have made an impact in our community!”
Any community group can participate, adding to the beauty of our Grand Lobby for patrons and visitors to enjoy. We can't wait to celebrate with you during the happiest of holidays at the Niswonger!
